Our Most Popular Zoom Event of 2021!

CT Public: 48 Digital Platforms and Counting event was held in November 2021 and featured Connecticut Public’s executive leadership. In an increasingly fast-changing media landscape, Connecticut Public is providing badly-needed local programming as well as high-quality national programming. Connecticut Public is investing in local journalism in Connecticut by adding resources in Fairfield County to tell local stories on the radio, on television and over more than 48 different digital platforms. Mark Contreras, President & CEO, and members of his leadership team discussed how they’re building the public media audience, expanding local journalism, and meeting the citizens of Connecticut wherever they want to consume high quality public media journalism, storytelling and entertainment.

The event also included the announcement of 2021 Mercury Award winners for Best in Show, Practitioner of the Year Award, and Beacon Award, and a brief PRSA CT Annual Meeting.
